Body Control Pilates South Africa (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your information.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, and phone number when you submit an enquiry, and your name and email address when you register and pay for a course. We do not collect this information from any other source.

Why we collect it & your consent

By submitting a form or paying a registration fee, you consent to us using your information to respond to your enquiry, administer your course enrolment, and communicate with you about your registration. We rely on your consent and on the performance of our agreement with you as the lawful basis for this processing.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to communicate with you about our courses and services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not use it for advertising or behavioural tracking.

Payments

All card payments are processed securely by PayFast over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection. We never receive or store your card details. Please review PayFast's privacy policy for their data practices.

How we protect & retain it

Our website is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure. We keep your information only for as long as needed to serve your enquiry or administer your course, and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. If you believe we have not handled your information lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
